Bred Female Program
It All Starts With the Female.
These females as heifer calves are developed out on pasture, letting mother nature sort out those individuals
without natural fleshing ability and hardiness. They are brought in at the beginning of April to the lot and
sorted into frame size groups to begin to get ready for the Artificial Insemination process. They are heat
detected and following AI they are then bred with one tried and tested calving ease bull for each group.
Following this 45 day period, all the females head for summer pasture on the top of the Big Horn Mountain
range with elevations of 8000 feet. They are all ultra‐sound preg checked for accuracy upon their return from summer pasture.
